Daniel Sims, DO, is a board-certified provider at the Intermountain Cancer Center – Utah Valley. Dr. Sims attended Brigham Young University before receiving his medical degree from Midwestern University Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine. He then completed a residency in internal medicine and a fellowship in hematology/oncology at UCSF Fresno.
Dr. Sims is committed to provide high quality, personalized care for you and your loved ones. His clinical interests include leukemia, lymphoma, and thoracic and gastrointestinal oncology. His goal is to care for his patients the same way he would want someone to care for his family.
Dr. Sims is originally from Bakersfield, California. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family, camping, hiking, and watching BYU sports.
Conditions treated and services offered:
• Administration of chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and targeted therapies for the treatment of all forms of cancer
• Management of clotting and bleeding disorders as well as other blood disorders, including anemia
• Bone marrow aspiration and biopsy
