Dr. Dallas Smuin and his wife Brittany were raised in the Basin. Together with their four children they are extremely excited to be moving back home to the community they know and love. They enjoy outdoor activities, all of which the Basin has to offer, but ultimately it is the people that brings them back to what they consider home. Dr. Smuin chose orthopedic surgery when he realized that orthopedic surgeons have the opportunity to help people return to an active lifestyle. One of his work hightlights was being the team physician for the US Olympic Snowboard Cross (SBX) team in the 2023/2024 FIS World Cup final event held at Mont Saint Anne in Quebec, Canada. Caring for our nation’s athletes was a great honor and a privilege for Dr. Smuin.
Dr. Smuin also has interests in global health care as well as improving health in small communities; he looks forward to educating and caring for the future generation.
The Smuin family looks forward to meeting and being a part of the hardworking wonderful community that is the Basin!
