Whitney Gurr was born and raised in the Basin. She spent several years on the Wasatch Front working at Primary Children’s Hospital. Whitney has worked at UBMC on Med/Surg, critical care in the pediatric intensive care unit at PCH, and with Pettit Pediatrics in Vernal.

Whitney received her LPN from UBtech, her RN and BSN from Weber State University and her doctorate of nursing practice from Baylor University . She strives to deliver patient-centered care and values collaboration, accessibility, and building long-term relationships with patients and families. Whitney is looking forward to working back at the hospital where her nursing career started and to serve the community that shaped her life.

Outside of work, Whitney enjoys spending time with her family, cheering at football games, and paddleboarding. She married her highschool sweetheart, Jordan, and have one fun, energetic son and one ball-loving dog.
