Nichole Sorensen FNP-C was born and raised in the Uintah Basin. She is married to her high school sweetheart, and together they have three children. Nichole decided at a young age that she wanted to become a nurse, inspired by her mother, who is also a nurse. The experience of helping people during both their best and worst moments has greatly influenced who Nichole is today. Her background in emergency medicine and trauma has taught her that each individual is unique and requires personalized healthcare. When Nichole is not helping patients, she enjoys spending time with her family in the mountains or in their yard, never having a dull moment.
Nichole attended UBTECH and the USU-Uintah Basin extension to obtain her LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) and RN (Registered Nurse) certifications. She then continued her education at USU, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Inspired by others and wishing to advance her career, Nichole pursued a Master of Science in Nursing (Family Nurse Practitioner) at Rocky Mountain University of Health Professionals. She looks forward to personalizing healthcare for her patients.
