COMPANY SECURITY

The protection of UBMC employees, nonemployed staff, patients, customers, and assets is an important part of the total UBMC environment of health and business professionalism.

Guidelines:

1. It is the responsibility of all non-employees to consider themselves a partner in the safety and security efforts of UBMC and to realize that safety and security awareness is important.

2. Non-employed should report any suspicious looking persons or activity, potential or real hazards, commitment of crimes, or other safety or security violations that occur in or around any UBMC premises to their immediate supervisor.

3. Memos, policies, procedures, and other written documents concerning UBMC should be treated as confidential and not discussed or given to anyone who does not have legitimate need to have access to this information.
