Dr. Jeffrey Wheeler, D.O. and his wife, Bonnie, love raising their family here in the Basin. They enjoy being in the outdoors (fishing, camping, jeeping, etc.), but what has made Roosevelt home is the people. Living and working in a small town has offered Dr. Wheeler many opportunities to work with and help many of the Basin’s down-to-earth, good people.

Dr. Wheeler completed his medical training at Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kirksville, MO, followed by residency training at Memorial Hospotal in South Bend, IN. There, he received training in family medicine with special interests in endoscopy including EGD and colonoscopy, vasectomies, pediatrics and addiction medicine.

Dr. Wheeler speaks both Spanish and Portuguese. He is so thankful for his wonderful patients and those he works with at Uintah Basin Healthcare!
