Dr. J.D. Marett was raised in Duchesne, Utah. He earned his bachelor degree in Athletic Therapy with minors in psychology and chemistry from Weber State.

He attended the University of Utah School of Medicine and completed his residency at HealthOne Family Medicine in Aurora, Colorado.

Dr. Marett’s hobbies include distance running, disc golf, studying Spanish, and playing guitar, bass, mandolin, percussion and singing. Some of his favorite books include East of Eden, Dances with Wolves, and Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance. He has a wife and two daughters that he considers the best!

Dr. Marett will be part of the hospitalist team and will also have an outpatient family medicine clinic. He is excited to join the hospitalist team and provide care to our patients!
