Obstetric Care Update

After 39 years and approximately 3,600 deliveries, Dr. Breitenbach is transitioning away from obstetric care and is no longer accepting new OB patients. He will continue providing comprehensive family medicine care to new and existing patients. View Press Release Here.

Karl Breitenbach, MD attended medical school at the University of Missouri in Kansas City and completed his residency with the University of Utah at McKay-Dee Hospital. He is Board Certified and a Diplomate of the American Board of Family Practice.

Dr. Breitenbach provides comprehensive family medicine care for patients of all ages and has a special interest in women’s health and pediatrics. He also provides a variety of dermatology procedures, including mole and wart removal, as well as procedures including vasectomies and bilateral tubal ligations.

Dr. Breitenbach has served patients in the Uintah Basin since 1987 and is proud to continue caring for generations of local families.

Outside of medicine, his interests include white water rafting, mountain biking, archery, fishing, photography and backpacking. Dr. Breitenbach and his wife, Paula, have four children: Ryan Merrell, Nikki Merrell, Makenzie Holmes and Kagan Breitenbach.
