Shauna Whatcott-Sclafani, PA obtained a Bachelor of Science in zoology at Brigham Young University and a Master of Physician Assistant Studies at Western University of Health Sciences. She is board certified with the National Commission on the Certification of Physician Assistants and specializes in cardiology.
Shauna chose to pursue a career in medicine because she enjoys participating in the patient journey. She loves working one-on-one with her patients to improve their health and strives to create an environment of compassion and care.
When she is not with patients, Shauna enjoys working in her garden and spending time with her family. She also loves to go on international humanitarian medical trips and has been to India, Morocco, Nepal, Finland, France, and England.
Dr. Sclafani visits the Basin for appointments on the 4th Monday of every even month.
