Shawn Hawkins was raised in Oregon. He attended Brigham Young University, majoring in Exercise Science. He graduated Suma Cum Laude in 1999 and was honored to be the university’s valedictorian that year. He then attended the University of Washington and earned his degree in Physical Therapy in 2001. Following a couple of years working in his hometown in Oregon, Shawn joined the UBMC team in the spring of 2004. He has worked as the Director of Rehabilitation Services since 2006.
Shawn and his wife Michele have 4 wonderful children. They enjoy spending time together as a family, traveling, and being outdoors. Shawn especially enjoys playing golf and fishing, boasting trophy catches in several of the largest fish species found in North America.
Shawn loves the Uintah Basin and its residents. He and his family have thoroughly enjoyed their time in this area and cherish the experiences they have had raising their family in rural eastern Utah. He loves his patients and is grateful for the opportunity he has to help them meet their rehabilitative goals.
